"Life is Good" -Jay "Mac" says so - and good times, good friends, and good food along with family make it better. There will always be the "seated" memory of Jay and your families on our Friday Night Fish Fry along with the echoing of his laughter that filled the dining room. He left his love of Pelee Island all around with his signage and each time we see them we will remember. Stay strong , love each other and in time Life will be good again. Darith .

Sue and Family Jay was many things to many people yet to me he was a friend. Tho he was tall in stature his heart for people was even larger. Every time we met him, it was a hugh bear hug, a hearty hand shake and that gigantic Jay smile. Jay always put others before himself, and that is a testament to the man. I know he is chucling that I am trying this on a computer because only me and him knows this is the second attempt. Buddy and Mary Kay Kitchen

Our heartfelt condolences for your loss. Jay always reminded me of his dad. Full of life and enjoying every minute of it. He is still considered the tubing champion of Otter Lake. He is the only guy I ever had difficulty throwing off the tube. He is in our thoughts. Regards, The McKenney family

It is with great sorrow that I learned of Jay's passing.Jay was a wonderful person, and I'll always cherish the small moments we would have together onboard the M.V. Jiimaan. Jay would make the long climb to the pilot house each and everytime he was on the ferry just to say "Hello". Jay will be sadly missed by all his friends on Pelee Island. Please accept my sincere condolences during your time of sorrow. Captain Harvey Ryersee.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We only got to know Jay for a short period of time while he was a "room mate" of my father, Vladimir Pezdirc at Met hospital 6th floor on his final weeks. Coincidently, they both died the same day......and that is how we learned by the newspaper the passing of Jay.He was a very caring man, always asked for my dad and although you can sense the suffering he always had a smile on his face. May he rest in peace and the family find strength to continue the journey of this wonderful life, cut way too short for Jay.
