We are deeply saddened by John's passing. We cherish the memories of spending so many evenings together watching the boys play baseball, as well as many evenings at Dave and Shelley's. John always had a gentle, kind manner and he will be missed dearly.

Dear Annette and Family: I was saddened to hear of the death of John. He often stopped to chat at our window and was always joyful when he shared his stories of your children and especially your grandchildren. I will miss that sparkle in his eyes and the smile he always had, no matter how sick he felt. My prayers are with you in this sorrowful time.

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of John. I first met John playing against him in various slo-pitch leagues and then had the pleasure of playing with him for many years. We had a lot of fun times playing slo-pitch in various leagues(30,40,50)and tournaments, mainly in Niagara Falls. John was an integral part of our teams, both as a player and a friend to all. As a group we played many years together and many friendships were formed during that time. Even though that most have stopped playing and have not had contact with each other, we will always cherish and remember the fun times that we enjoyed in each other's company during those years. John was a part of this and I know that the players that played with John would be saddened to hear of his death. He was not only a very good athlete but more importantly a super nice guy. My sincere condolences to his wife, Annette and daughters Shelly and Heather.
