Passed away into the arms of the Lord with his loving family and his extended Huron Lodge family by his side on August 10, 2011. Beloved husband of Mary-Agnes (nee Adam) for 45 years. Loving father to Jennifer Pickle and husband Murray, and Paul and wife Monique. Pappa to Samantha, Jacob, Andrew, Matthew, and Kaisa. Survived by sisters Yvonne Fletcher and husband Norm, Marie Zyren and late husband Anthony, Denise Rapin and husband Richard, and Janet Potter and late husband Paul. Predeceased by brothers John and wife Rita, and Roland and surviving wife Barbara, and by sister Angela Gallant and surviving husband Tom. Will be missed by sisters in law Madeline Sproat and late husband William, Pat Adam, and brothers in law Roy Adam and wife Jackie, and Leonard Adam and wife Monica. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Joe was a retired teacher from the Roman Catholic Board spending 23 years at Assumption College. He was a Life Member of the South Windsor Knights of Columbus, Co. #4386. If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
Visiting on Friday from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish Prayers 4:30 pm. & Knights of Columbus Prayers at 7:30pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Saturday, family and friends are invited to meet at Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd. W.) after 9:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Cremation to Follow.
