Condolences & Donations

Dear Bill and Sharon, Over the years I got to know your family so well. I remember when your Dad passed, and then your brother Michael. And now your Mom has gone too. It must be hard to be the last one remaining in that small well-knit family. Your Mom was an absolute gem of a person. I loved her wit and her infectious smile and giggle. When I was last home in 2008 my brother Jim and his wife Bonnie and I went to visit her. She was still on Elm Avenue then and as spry and lucid as ever. We had a great time chatting with her on that occasion. She was such an active member of the church, being Treasurer all those years, and also I remember her vividly as Dorcus Leader and can still see her helping all those poor souls who came into the Dorcus room at the old church on Moy Avenue. Your Mom will always remain one of the people I have always admired, not only for her kindness to me and so many others, but for the inner beauty and Christian faith that always shone through that amazingly stalwart character of hers. My condolences to you and your family.
