Mrs. Parks, Kevin and family - Our most heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to you at this difficult time. We have very fond memories of Mr. Parks. I know our dad Len and Mr. Parks could talk for hours! For Brian and I especially, during the years we played softball with Mr. Parks, he was a terrific coach and mentor with a warm, caring spirit! You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Kay, Alan & Christie, Brian, Bev & Bob

Dear Mrs.Parks and Family: What a shock to read about Mr. Parks passing. I remember him as a kind and gentle man who always greeted you with a smile. Although I did not know him very well I always thought highly of him and his family. I used to babysit for his granddaughter Jessica. ( I was Oscar and Annettes daughter) My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Mrs. Parks.

Freda and I were met Marvin for only a few hours at Jessica and Joel's wedding last year. We both were impressed with his warm friendly personality. We have thought of him often in the past year. I'm sure those who were blessed to know him for a lifetime have been enriched by his Christ like compassion for his fellow man.

I have many fond memories of the Parks' family including Mr. Parks. My thoughts, prayers and condolences to all. Death belongs to life as birth does. The walk is in the raising of the foot and the laying of it down. Mr. Parks had a wonderful walk - I am thankful I was able to join him, if even for a small part of his journey.

Hi Ollie, Kevin, Donna and family! Wow! What a sudden loss for everyone. I know that you will really miss Marv-husband, father and Grandpa. He reminded me of a gentle loving "bear". I really appreciated traveling with Marv and you Kevin, over to Detroit - for the big Auto show, Detroit Tigers games and great deals in the USA at the time. Great memories and lots of laughs! More significantly, Marv was a true older brother, good, wise advisor and certainly a spiritual anchor. When a "pillar" goes like this, so quickly, the whole building shakes and trembles. But the one thing that I am most encouraged about is that Jesus Christ is our firm anchor, He lived in and through Marv, and certainly will provide comfort and stability in these shaking times. He is our peace and refuge in times of shaking! He always has and always will be! Our love, prayers and hugs to you all!! John ( & Beth, Jared, Teeka)
