My grandmother Is not the grandma you seen in the movies... knitting; not her thing. Baking; not a chance! Offer her a margarita though, and you had a friend for life! She has always been the kind of woman I strive to be; straight forward, upfront, strong, compassionate, loving. She truly was the queen within our family, and the glue that has always kept us all coming back together. I am thankful she was able to see me get married to the love of my life (whom she adored more than anyone), and was also able to watch my children grow into young adults. Life won’t be the same without her on this earth; but she is in a better place now, kicking back with Grandpa and uncle Mike having a margarita watching all of us. I am thankful that we got to see her one last time the week before her passing ... the memories from a lifetime will live forever among our family We miss you grandma! You will be forever loved and remembered xo
