Peacefully, on October 30, 2019 at 73 years of age. Reunited with his beloved wife Helen (2007) and his son Kevin (1978). Loving father of David Shanahan (Theresa), Jodi Baribeau (Keith) and Kelly Mowers (Adam). Treasured Grandpa of Brianna, Brandon, Payton, Hunter, Brian, Emma and Tanner. Dear brother of the late Patricia Richards (2006), (Bruce), Carol Merrett, Tom Shanahan (late Marie, 2017), John Shanahan (late Mary, 2014). Predeceased by his parents Jack and Orla Shanahan. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Bishop J. T. Kidd Council #4924 and a 4th Degree member with the Wilfrid J. Langlois Assembly #1789. Special thank you to the nurses and staff of the 8th floor east of WRH Ouellette Campus for their dedicated care and kindness.
