June 7, 1976 – May 29, 2019
I met Michelle when she was 11 years old. She was going through a difficult time being seperated from her family and I was chosen to become her Social Worker. From the moment I met her I knew she had a spark within her and she would overcome whatever obstacle that she would encounter. She was a "fire cracker" yet in so many good ways. She was extremely talented as a gymnast which I wish we had cell phones to record videos back then because I was always amazed at her strength and talent. I worked as Michelle's Social Worker for 5 years (almost 6), but, when I moved on to another position, we decided to stay in contact forever...that is the bond we developed. You see...at one point Michelle asked me to take her home and adopt her...which I seriously considered and wish I was in the position to do so. Our bond continued to be strong, as she was. I went to her wedding. She was so beautiful...a princess.
The next chapter was her becoming pregnant with Allyshia! Omg she was so nervous and funny about all the changes happening to her...but she glowed. When Allyshia was born she was the proudest mother...so adoring of her beautiful daughter. Michelle was always so proud of becoming a mother...and then a Nona (gramma...but really a "Glamma") . She adored Liam and would just beam when she spoke about him.
I have many stories to tell about Michelle most are funny, but I will save them for now ... She will always be in my heart and have a piece of it...
I love you Michelle...Forever and Beyond xo
