Condolences & Donations

My father, Bernard (Bunny) Reaume, had a lifelong affection for Monica. He was forever touched by her kindness when he was serving in the RCAF in World War II. While his childhood friend Half was Monica's "better half" (as I heard her say), she never forgot her far-off friends and wrote many letters and regularly sent parcels that meant the world to my dad, especially when he was a prisoner-of-war from 1944-45. He had lots of fun memories of the Sandwich gang (& Monica's mom was a favourite). He never forgot the extra effort Monica gave to remind her far-off friends at war of home and to lift their spirits. It meant a lot to my dad in later years to share Remembrance Day with Half & Monica. Lest we forget... Rest in peace, Mrs. Reaume.
