I was hired right out of engineering school as Assistant Water Engineer by Murray when he was the Personnel Manager at the Windsor Utilities Company in 1961.In those days it very was hard finding a job that aligned with your engineering education. So I was indebted then and am indebted now to Murray for aligning my profession for my future professional years. During those years we came to know each other and remember him as the gentleman he was. Odd that years later we curled together in the Windsor Curling Club Senior Association at Roseland. And today I am pleased to celebrate his life with our curling members who recall him by writing his obituary in our "From the Hack" newsletter paying tribute to not only his fine curling ability but the respectful man that always complimented others on their fine play.Murray you played well too..

I had the privilege of meeting Murray many years ago as a fellow member of The Windsor & District Personnel Association and served on the board with him . He was one of many fine people who represented their employers well in an age when the business world was a little "kinder" than it is today . Murray was always ready to assist in any way he could and I recall he treated everyone with the utmost respect , undoubtedly an aspect of his kindness . To be on this earth for almost a century is quite a feat .
