Condolences & Donations

I was so very saddened to read about Norene's passing.

We were very close friends in High School and dated for a couple years.

Her parents, and siblings Gary, Bill and Nancy were wonderful.

Gary, please contact me if you see this message.

After almost 2 months, Norene's passing from mortal to immortal remains as one of those implausible and inconsolable issues that is impossibly difficult to understand. One where the head cannot get through to the heart allowing healing & acceptance to begin. How is it that such a gracious lady, still young and full of life, energy and with so much of her future still in front of her, visually healthy, loving and caring towards all and asking for little in return, be gone? It simply does not seem right. However if Norene were here to tell us all one thing it would be to enjoy each day the way it is provided as she did in spite of all the personal tragedies and heartaches she had to deal with in the past few years. Her life is truly a power of example for all. Life is fleeting. It turns on a dime, sometimes towards us but most often it turns away, flashing and flirting as it goes. But how we all danced while you were here. Love: Carl

Todd, Trevor and Joel. Your mother will be missed very much. We shared such a special time together with having our first grandaughter and grandson together. Both your parents were wonderful people. To have your mom leave so suddenly is such a shock, the pain will heal in the future but you moms love will always be in your hearts.

Although I've know Noreen for a short time, I will remember how her kindness touched my heart. Some people give hugs, some give help, she gave both. My deepest sympathies to the familes. Pamela

Dear Norene, Although you left us so suddenly, we are pleased that you are reunited with your Love. We will grieve for you, each in our own way, but in our hearts we know you are finally at peace and happy in your new life. You have touched all our lives and left your imprint on each of us as you travelled through life. We thank you for that gift and wish you well in your new life. You will always be in my heart dear friend…...Bernice Smith

My deepest sympathy goes out to Norene's family - this is such a shock! Being teammates every Wednesday, I got to know Norene and we got along so well (skip & vice). She spoke very proudly of her family. It was such a pleasure to know her and she will surely be missed.

Dear Joel, Todd, Trevor and families: This is such terrible, sad news about you mum Norene. Oh my I have so many memories of your mum and your dad and the many times we were together when we were younger. I loved your mother's homemade pickles and desserts, and was happy as she always brought something to the farm with her. Thinking of you all at this sad time. Danielle Carder xo

Dear Joel, Todd & Trevor. Like you, I'm sure, I was so shocked to see that your dear mother has passed away. For this I am truly sorry for all your families. As I am in Costa Rica I will not be able to attend her service but I will be thinking of all of you and thinking of the times we use to have together especially in Brampton. With Sympathy & love to all of you Beth Lougheed
