Remembering Norine with much love and affection. The wounds are still raw, but I am comforted when I witness the love, closeness and support that exists in her beautiful family for each other - and their friends! They do her proud.

Hi Folks: We are most saddened to hear of Norine's passing. From the time Doug shared a hospital room with Paul two years ago we learned bit by bit of the difficulties Norine was experiencing but didn't suspect that it would result in having to deal with cancer. Last year we met Norine and Susan by chance at the cancer clinic when we first learned, and were very surprised, that her problem was cancer. At that point we knew she would be in for a battle but certainly hoped it would be one that she could win. Cancer is such an ugly disease and we know the struggle that your family had to go through from our own personal experiences. Our short acquaintance with Norine and your family was one of learning how she was full of spirit and vitality and how she passed that along to the rest of the family to deal with the ups and downs of this living existence. It is with that type of spirit in mind that we hope you are able, along with close friends, to comfort one another going into the days ahead with the good memories and inspiration that Norine has left behind within your being. Always hoping for the best for your family. Cathy and Doug Coulter

Our family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude to family, friends, neighbours and co-workers for the overwhelming love and support expressed during this very difficult time. We sincerely appreciate all the floral tributes, charitable donations, mass offerings, sympathy cards, food, on-line condolences, visits and other acts of kindness. A sincere thanks to Dr. Alam for her special bond with our family and giving Mom hope and to the WRH chemo suite, the CCAC nurses, and Saint Elizabeth nurses. The care and attention to detail provided to us from Brian, John and all the staff at Families First brought us comfort. Our appreciation to the La Salle police department for keeping our procession safe. We felt very blessed by the personal tribute given by Father Thomas Blondin for the celebration of Norine's beautiful life. Everyone who came together from the Sacred Heart Church Choir, altar servers, readers, pallbearers, Jeff for guidance and prayers and Kelly for her angelic voice, all really provided peace to our hearts. The experience we shared with Aunt Christine at Heavenly Rest Cemetery assured us that Mom is continuing to watch over us all. The kindness of so many will be cherished and remembered always. "Mom, words can never express how much you will be missed, but our hearts are filled with love for you FOREVER!" Love Paul, Susan, Shelley, Mike, Doug and families
