October 19, 1951 – February 6, 2020
It may seem to be an odd title, but growing up our families spent most Sundays together. During these years Tillie, me and my sister spent the afternoon together.
It’s a bond that over the years never broke. As we grew older and our lives went their separate ways we always kept in contact. Visits to the Blais house were always warm and welcoming. And what visit would not be complete without enough food to feed a small army, all lovingly prepared by Tillie. Our memories are always of the good times, lots of laughs, good conversations. We never went home early or hungry!
The photo I chose was the last time we walked together, and was immediately reminded me of those childhood days. Again it was after a good meal, some wine, and a great afternoon. It’s the image in my mind when I think of Tillie. Rest in peace Tillie.
