I had the pleasure of knowing Rick through Music Express and always appreciated his musical gifts as well as his jovial spirit. He brought light and life to all his encounters. Blessings to his family, and may your own memories sustain you in times ahead.

Rick was a great friend growing up together .sorry we lost touch when I moved away .Reconnected on Facebook and was planning to visit him on my next trip to Windsor .I guess you should never put off doing things or it could be to late. Mr Annan taught me in high school, and taught me piano in the late 1990s. He offered me lessons at a discounted rate because I couldn't afford them, and drove me home afterward so I wouldn't have to walk. In the summer I took a 40 minute bus trip across town to receive lessons from him because he was the best piano teacher I ever had. He changed the way I thought about music theory and musical expression and I still think of him when I play the piano. I am so very sorry to hear about his premature passing and I am sorry to miss the services. My sincere condolences to his family.

Very sad to hear the news of Mr. Annan's passing. Mr. Annan was first my piano teacher at the Ursuline School of Music, decades ago. We became reacquainted when my mother moved into Chateau Park, over two years ago. Rick was a fixture there. What a wonderful and witty man, a gifted musician and teacher. Conveying my deep condolences to all his family and friends.
