Sorry to hear of this sudden passing of Rob. Known and enjoyed his company for many years.

Rob was a wonderful friend who always had time and a kind word. He will be sorely missed. Our condolences go out to his family. Dear Vanessa, Robert Jr., Elio and Paul It's so hard to find the right words at a time like this. My heart goes out to each of you. I wish there was something I could say or do that would ease your pain durring these dark days.I'm sorry that I will not be able to attend services ,but please know that I'm there in spirit.Rob has been big part of my life since I was five and I feel more than blessed to have had him in my life.I know that because his love and friendship I'm a better father, a better man and of course a better cook than I ever could have been without him. I was very sad to hear of Rob's passing. I remember Rob as always having a smile on his face and a twinkle in is eyes...just like grandpa Jack Hill...I guess that's something the Italians and Irish share. He was driven by his heart. On his last trip up to Britt to build cottages I invited him to stay the night in Muskoka and have a BBQ...thinking I would cook the meal. Rob arrived with his sausages, steaks marinated in his own homemade sauce and 2 pails of VinBin wine...and he BBQ'd a wonderful meal. So there we were at 2 a.m. on a weekday night drinking wine and solving all of the problems in the world. That's the spirit in which I will remember Rob. To Venessa and Rob Jr. I will always have positive memories of your dad.

Dear Vanessa and Robert; I am so sorry to hear of the lose of your father. He was a good man and I will always remember his smile and his kind heart. I lived next door to you when you were small on George Ave. My daughter Melissa babysat you when you were both little. I will never forget the first night when your father was rushed to the hospital and it has been a really hard battle for him since that night.
