My father, Edward Loft, was a friend of Roy's. I loved to play tennis and Roy agreed to play me and give me some pointers. I really appreciated that. I used to play at Jackson Park with Roy and I remember playing with him several times. Such a nice person and a wonderful tennis player! He'll be missed.
