Condolences & Donations

Dear Tom. I'm so sorry to hear of tbe passing away of your wife Ruth. I didn't know her that well, but have fond memories of the great pool parties you and her used to throw for your freinds and us co-workers. I live In London now and keep In touch with the Windsor news thru my computer. Thats how I found out. Myself I was a cancer patient a couple years back and with all the travelling for my operations and treatments between Windsor and London It just got to be too much so I decided to settle down here In London. I'm doing pretty good, however I'm a Laryngectomee without any vocal cords so I'm unable to speak. Its hard for me to communicate with people but I have a few electronic gadgets that I'm trying to learn to use that I hold up to my neck and try and speak thru the vibrations. Its very frustrating trying to learn how to talk all over again but I only have to look ss far as the cancer clinics I visit and see how brave the two and three year old kids with different types of cancer just seem to take life In stride and get on with It. Well again Tom, I'm so sorry for your lose and also for not being able to make It to the service. Please feel free when you feel up to It to drop me a line via E-mail If you want. Even though we haven't been able to keep In touch with one another,I still count you as one of my very good freinds who took the time when we worked together to help me learn some of the "ins and outs" of our trade, along with a few other things. Sincerly Your old freind, Jack Gallant
