Yes, Mr. Scott Hays had a big influence on my life.  He was my coach for a number of years in track and field, and basketball.  He was fun, he was strict, and he was disciplined.  I learned these life skills from him.  He applied/explained the science of track and field.  I was in 9th grade but he took an interest in me and I worked with the upper classmen at his invitation to join them on the track field.  It was an honor and pleasure to share part of our lives together.
