Condolences & Donations

Pamela, David and Lisa and families, My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your dearly beloved father and grandfather. Ted has left a huge void in our lives but his presence will be with us always. He was indeed a devoted brother and brother-in-law to my dear parents, especially during my mother's battle with cancer and later when Dad lived alone. We all enjoyed many wonderful outings to Steven & Lisa's, dinners in Windsor & Puce, and ... the Casino. I was one of his early patients (I dreaded wearing my retainer and he knew it!!) and he routinely checked Katherine to see if the orthodontist in Tennessee was up to his high standards. Mario and I always enjoyed his wit, charm, keen intellect, and kindness. His style was extraordinary and his love of family was admirable. He was a man of uncommon grace and will live in our hearts forever. xoxox Judy

Uncle Ted was the living Patriarch of over 250 Wachna relatives from across Canada and the United States. He will be dearly missed with his kind words of encouragement and thoughtfulness. He loved the family gatherings and learning of how family members were progressing. He always said to dress well and strive to be your best. He had a good sense of humor and a deep love of life. I extend my deepest sympathy to David, Pamela, Lisa and their loved ones. Sincerely, Godson Bob Wachna and Family

With heartfelt sorrow we mourn the loss of Ted. He was a wonderful brother in-law. Boris and Ted were very close and respected each other. Ted was always concerned about the Wachna clan, thoughtful, generous and always interested in what everyone was doing. He loved to check the children's teeth making sure they were OK. Ted loved to give a little speech at any function which we all enjoyed. We will miss him but we have lovely memories of him with us. May God have mercy on his soul and may he rest in peace. Sincerely Min

David, Pam, Brad, Stephanie, Lisa, Steve, Mark, Anne-Marie & Audrey, I'm saddened to learn of the passing of your father/grandfather. I have very fond memories of conversations we shared during his visits to your home when I watched the children. I remember he was like a walking encyclopedia, full of knowledge. I hope you all find comfort in knowing that he is finally at peace and no longer in pain. Safe in GOD's arms. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.

Dear family, My name is Cole Snyders. I never did meet Mr. Wachna but I live here in the Windsor area and I take part in a volunteer work that helps ones cope with the loss of a loved one. We like to share the hope and comfort that you can find in the bible. I give my condolences for the loss of Mr. Wachna. He seemed to be very loved by his family. The bible gives us the sure hope that we can look forward to seeing all our loved ones again on this very earth in the near future in John 5:28, 29, “All those in the memorial tombs will come out. This will not be in the world as we see it today with all its suffering but into perfect conditions as we find in Revelation 21:3, 4, “And He will wipe out every tears from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have past away. We are genuinely concerned for ones that have lost their loved ones in death. This is not a commercial advertisement. If you would like to learn more or be visited for further encouragement, feel free to contact me through email at c.g.snyders@gmail.com. Sincerely, Cole Snyders

My deepest sympathy to Pam David and Lisa and their families from all our family, especially my husband Graham and my Aunt Olga. Uncle Ted had a special place in all our hearts. Uncle Ted was an othodontist, he applied my braces and gave me my fine smile. Uncle Ted was athletic and played golf. He possessed style, good looks and loved to talk with his many nieces and nephews during our family gatherings. Uncle Ted was intelligent, kind and interested in our endeavours. He will be missed. My deepest sympathy to David, Pamela and Lisa and their families. Love, cousin Tina
