So sorry to hear about Aunt Tillie, have such wonderful memories of all those summers at the lake and our mothers having afternoon tea all the while seeming to keep us fed and mostly out of trouble. Thinking of you all.

Your Mom and Dad were so wonderful, Giles Blvd United Church Couples Club always had so much fun playing cards. Their friendship was always so sincere - true friends - they will all be partners again and this weekend will have another plate of finger sandwiches and dishes of peanuts and candy. Our parents were pretty fantastic.

I have known Tillie Schooley my entire life. My parents were in a Giles Blvd United Church Couples' Club with Tillie and Carl -- and some of the couples formed life-long friendships. I grew up helping clean the house before my parents' turn to host.

At some point along the way, both families ended up with property at the same beach community. I can just see my mother setting off across the lawn to "have coffee with Tillie". I also remember them sitting together on the beach or standing in the shallow water in their tasselled and flowered sun hats, talking and watching the water making sure none of us actually drowned.

Aunt Tillie was always so pretty and gracious... a real lady. Thinking of her friendship with my mom gives me a lot of joy.

To Tillie's entire family, please accept my condolences for your loss. It is never easy, even when we know it must come.

Your Mom was such a kind and gentle lady. I am so sorry for your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I bet there's a great IRA Euchre Party happening up there!! Jan
