I remember when Elaine, Jacqui and me stayed at grandma's to go shopping for Christmas (at Hudson's after she got off of work Saturday morning at Cunningham's), that night Aunt Vi would take us to the movies. It got to be a thing we did pretty often. As we got older (and taller) there was a standing joke that when she would go to the window for the tickets she would say, "One adult and three children." The ticket clerk would answer back, "So who's the adult?" It was a great laugh every time we went and it got to the point that she would call ahead to the theatre to let them know she was the adult. I called her last year when I was trying to make her fudge when I lived in Virginia, I got the receipe and we talked for almost two hours, telling her all about my new life and new job. She cared. She was one of the very few people who remembered my birthday in January and since I'm all alone in San Francisco now, I was looking forward to getting a card. Imagine my surprise when I received my birthday card along with my Christmas card! I'm so happy that I got that from her. I thought of her just the other morning and was smiling as I was getting ready to box up the few holiday decorations I put up. I came across the Christmas stocking that she knitted for me when I was born and I cherish it. I will miss her immensely. Please accept my prayers for you Charlie, Chuck and Jen.

There are those in life who stand out from everyone else. Those little traits that you could only wish you had. The warm smile and meaningful hugs; only good things to say. We are very sad to have to write this and want to express our deepest sympathy to you Uncle Charlie, Chuck, Jen and to all those who have had the pleasure of knowing such a wonderful person.

Charlie, Jen, Chuck, Kevine, Kyle I was shocked to hear of Vi's sudden passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. She was a little person with a great big heart. I'll miss asking her if she's got the crossword done yet. Take care of each other.

Dear Uncle Chuck, Jennifer and Chuck....I am so very sorry for your loss of a a great wife, and mother. She was a wonderful person, with a heart of gold. I will fondly remember the times I spent as a young child going with Aunt Vi, Pat and Elaine and myself to the wonderful shows downtown Detroit, and always lunch at Hudsons. She will hold a place in my heart forever. She will be missed. God Bless you Aunt Vi as you enter a new stage of your life in heaven. You will be fondly remembered. Love.....Jacqui
