Condolences & Donations

DEAR BILL: I am sending this e-mail to you as I know that somehow you will receive it. My haert is very, very saddened to hear of your passing as I just happened to read the paper and discovered this sad news. No one called to let me know. As you probably know, this seems to be commonplace with management people. I wish I would have known that you were ill, but then again, this is also prevalent with management people. Too proud to say and we don't keep in touch. As you will recall, I had a cancer operation and since we last spoke, I have had another. There are a few things that you and others should know. In the 25-30 years that I have known you, you were one of the best men that I ever met and to this day I still talk of your admiring qualities. Bill, as you know, you were like a father to me, understood me and most importantly, stood behind me. I understood you and stood behind you and I was proud to do so. I have read your obituary several times with disbelief of your passing, however people should know that although you achieved these remarkable acomplishments, you never boasted of these achievements or held anyone beneath you. You were sincere, loyal, trusting, honest, generous, understanding and most of all, forgiving. You were a perfect role model and your qualiities will be talked about for generations to come. Sense of humour?? Yes, and then some. I still to this day think of some of the quips and jokes you used to come up with. I used to think that you laid awake at nights thinking up these jokes as for sure they were originals. Your personality and thoughtfullness, along with being an excellent human being, will be missed, but not forgotten. As love goes between men, know that you will always be revered, remembered and loved as a great man. Until we meet again, as you would always affectionately say, Bunyak!
