My Mom

My mom may be gone now but I have many memories of times with her....when I was crying and she helped me feel better, when I made her laugh so hard she thought she would wet herself, when I would comb her hair when I was little for so long her hair got greasy, when I loved to look through her jewellery box and play with the things in it for hours, when we would watch old movies together, when she took me at age 12 to see a scary movie, when she handed me a kleenex as I cried through my wedding vows, when she made my wedding veil for me, when I would have tea with her at her kitchen table and when she would make homemade buttermilk pancakes.  I love my mom with all my heart and wish I could talk to her just even one more time.  Rest in peace my sweet mother, all my love from your only daughter, Gail
