Dr, Jasey, our Obyn

Dr. Jasey was my wife's OBYN in 1980/1, when we had our first child, daughter Saskia. We had gone through Lamaze courses, and my wife Susan was determined to go through a natural birth, without chemicals. Dr Jasey was on board, was at Grace Hospital when I took Susan in, and ordered the nurses to bring extra pillows to resemble a birthing chair. Dr. Jasey made sure the totally natural birth went smoothly, and ordered the new mother in the adjacent bed to STOP SMOKING!

Our  second daughter was born 4 years later: by now, there was a birthing chair (thanks to Dr. Jasey?), and Katia arrived within 20 minutes of arriving at Grace Hospital.  Both daughters thrived, Saskia is a nurse in North Bay, and Katia is almost a Ph.D. in Education at Regina, SK.

Dr. Jacey was way ahead if his time in facilitating natural birthing--we were/are so grateful for his work!
