Condolences & Donations

To Dear Art, Cheryl, Greg, Doug, Jeff, and Family, I was so saddened to hear of Val's passing. Though I never met her, I feel like I knew her. We corresponded a lot in the late 1980's regarding the Seccombe family history - Val was my late grandmother Beatrice Brown nee Seccombe's first cousin. I always looked forward to receiving her Christmas letter with news of all the Hemstreet happenings. The world has lost a great lady and I know that she will be sadly missed. The gates of memory are never closed. Sincere condolences, your cousin, Lloyd Dodd

Hello Jeff, Doug and Art, I haven't been in contact, but thought of you often especially when I heard that your Mother was ill. Hope this finds you as well as you can be given the circumstances and that in time, God will help you find comfort and peace in the knowledge that Val is in a much better place. Peace! Steve Fields

Hi Doug I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Prepared or not, it's never an easy transition. Just remember, they never really leave us as their spirit is always around in the most subtle of ways. I'm sure she will guide you and help you through this. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. P.S. That is a beautiful picture of her. A very happy woman. Sincerely, Christine Arksey and the Tonkin Families

Dear Art, Cheryl, Greg, Doug and Jeff: My deepest condolences on the loss of your wife and mother. I have many fond memories of her love of life, kindness, understanding and devotion to all of you and your many friends. Mrs. Hemstreet was a wonderful parent when we were teenagers and throughout my adult life although I moved far away, we kept in touch with annual Christmas cards and met on a couple of special occasions when I was in Ontario. I am sorry for your loss and you will all be in my thoughts today, tomorrow and in the coming days. Chris Seger

Dear Cheryl: My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Although I did not know your mother personally, her strength and courage became apparent through our many conversations over the past few months. God be with you. Beth
